i was originally supposed to be in south bend for notre dame football this weekend, but it has worked out ok that i'm home instead. (the irish played a good game yesterday; i hope my brother had fun!) birthday dinner for the roommate last night was lovely, and today there will be baseball festivities with [info]cupiscent! last day of the regular season for the red sox, which is nuts. WHERE DID THE TIME GO.

i know i'm due for another ells ficlet, but i keep getting bombarded with completely useless ideas like mike lowell/kelli pedroia and josh beckett/amalie benjamin. o.0

time for breakfast and church. whee!

I have trouble keeping these new young'uns straight...he's the one with the unruly longish dark hair, right? Actually, I think it looks pretty good at that length, just a personal preference. Haven't picked up any vibes from him yet, probably because the statistical sample isn't very large to this point.

Don't get me wrong, het is cool too...but given the established canon of our slash communities, I tend to think it belongs in our individual imaginations, perhaps late at night, with ourselves starring as Mary Sue, or perhaps combining the canon WITH a liberal dash of Mary Sue. Oh the raunchiness that exists in my lonely and very wild mind...

No way! Amalie's wicked hot (Heidi who?), and you know she's super-naughty once those glasses come off. Beckett's probably been dying to hit that all season, thinking he'll get to muss her up and take away some of that innocence; won't he be surprised when she turns out to be diiiiiiiirty already.

Er. I mean, you could think about it like that, I guess. If you're so inclined. I've heard some folks are.

i've had the occasional urge to slash sam cosentino, so you're not alone. he's goofy-looking and chubby, so i'm sure no one would read it, but i think he's ADORABLE ♥

ps: haven't you been thinking about the beckett/amalie for pretty much ever now? just write the thing and get it out of your brainpan so it stops tormenting you.
